What happens when someone orders a product on photographireland.net?

The good news is you don’t have to do anything! Just sit back and wait for your commission to be sent to you.

The process for orders is actually quite straight forward, but before we get into that we need to make sure you are away of what happens with your copyrighted photos.

When someone orders a product on the website, the photo is sent to the printing lab to be printed and turned into a wall art product. This in no way violates your copyrights to the photos. You will always be the copyright holder and you have the option to remove your photos from the website at any time from within your dashboard.

With that out of the way, let’s talk about how things are done when an order comes in. First thing we do is go to our secure photo archive where your high-resolution photos are kept.

Sidenote: We keep 2 copies of all photos, one copy in our main archive and another off-site backup.

The photo is then sent to the printing lab to be printed and made into wall art. The wall art product is then packaged and shipped to the customer.

At time of writing, we are currently partnered with 3 labs in 3 different countries, Ireland, UK and USA, and are planning partnerships with more labs in other countries in the coming months, starting with Australia and next into mainland Europe. This will expand our reach 10-fold giving even more opportunities to promote and sell your photos as wall art around the world. The more we sell, the more commission you make!

As soon as one of your photos is purchased, it will show in your dashboard, along with the commission you made on that order. The status of the order will also be visible so you can keep track of the order from the time it was ordered to the time it has been shipped to the buyer.
